Machine transcript (Whisper medium.en) of Victoria Comiskey's recording of her call with Det. Brandon Trull, Union County Sheriff's Office; call date to be fixed from device metadata; transcript not yet checked by ear; both parties' words; Tori's lines marked [T], the detective's [D].
[D?] means we read the line as the detective's but the content does not settle it; [?] means we cannot tell. Speaker labels are ours, assigned by reading the content; the machine transcript has none. Words are verbatim and uncorrected, including obvious machine errors; overlapping lines are repeated as the machine produced them. Time codes are minutes and seconds from the start of the recording. Shaded rows are the lines quoted on the petition page.

| Time | Speaker | Words (verbatim machine transcript, uncorrected) |
|---|---|---|
| 7:50.50 to 7:53.06 | [T] | That's literally all that has to happen. |
| 7:53.12 to 7:55.84 | [D?] | Yeah, exactly, and I'm not trying to like, |
| 7:55.90 to 7:57.70 | [D?] | you know, sway one side or the other, |
| 7:57.70 to 8:01.22 | [D?] | but I don't understand what I'm talking about. [machine reading; check by ear] |
| 8:01.34 to 8:03.08 | [D?] | I don't know what they want me to clarify |
| 8:03.08 to 8:08.10 | [D?] | because I have been very clear to them because you... |
| 8:08.78 to 8:09.72 | [?] | Yeah. I mean... |
| 8:09.72 to 8:15.66 | [T] | That's why I think they're trying to discredit me |
| 8:15.66 to 8:20.26 | [T] | by saying that my comments need clarification. |
| 8:21.66 to 8:25.42 | [T] | I think it's a very direct attempt to discredit me. |
| 8:21.70 to 8:25.74 | [T] | It's an attempt, a very direct attempt to discredit me. [overlapping chunk window; repeats the line above] |
| 8:25.42 to 8:31.98 | [T] | So my first concern was, oh no, I misinterpreted something, and I don't want to be misinterpreting |
| 8:31.96 to 8:32.38 | [T] | something. |
| 8:32.38 to 8:37.58 | [D] | Yeah, I mean, I'm not reading the email, so, I mean, I go to it, you know, bullet-by-bullet |
| 8:37.58 to 8:40.94 | [D] | bullet-by-bullet to be the robbery that happened on the day, yep, that's true, |
| 8:41.20 to 8:54.56 | [D] | personally, so the only, the first thing here that, um, they had said that you had told them that the, uh, the robbers had gained access via the trail up |
| 8:54.66 to 9:04.86 | [D] | which we do not know, but I do know that there is a trail that runs behind their house pretty close, and they also have that neighborhood. |
| 9:07.76 to 9:16.10 | [D] | So, that would be the only thing in that first section there that we're not 100% sure on. |
| 9:16.42 to 9:21.02 | [D] | If I had to make a very educated guess, I would say it was access to the wooden trail. [machine reading "wooden"; "wooded" expected; check by ear] |
| 9:21.02 to 9:33.38 | [D] | Just because it was the middle of the day and you have multiple people roaming the neighborhood versus not multiple people roaming the trail, you see what I'm saying? |
| 9:34.60 to 9:43.20 | [D] | So definitely someone would have, in my opinion, someone would have seen them and hopefully have called if they suspected something suspicious. |
| 9:43.20 to 9:51.02 | [D] | but that part, we're not 100% sure on how they were able to get access to these services |
| 9:51.02 to 10:00.20 | [D] | up, but like I said, that would be the only thing that I would clarify, I guess. |
| 10:00.32 to 10:04.92 | [T] | Yeah, I'll want to send them a note to clarify that then, that particular point. |
| 10:04.92 to 10:14.64 | [D] | I told them when I talked to them that I was the only thing on this cause they had to ask |
| 10:14.64 to 10:20.38 | [D] | me questions about what you had said and if I disagreed or agreed with everything. |
| 10:21.82 to 10:25.18 | [D] | I was like, I mean, all that stuff is stuff that I said. |
| 10:26.80 to 10:32.04 | [D] | You know, I mean, it's just, hearing you have a standpoint that you don't want |
| 10:32.04 to 10:42.36 | [D] | They have a standpoint that they do want these, so you guys are butting heads and they're trying to, whatever they are, trying to discredit the info that you got from me or whatever the case is. |
| 10:42.80 to 10:49.40 | [D] | I mean, I've gave them my thoughts on it. If they want any more thoughts, I mean, they can call me. |
| 10:49.58 to 10:58.22 | [D] | But, I mean, they have a deputy assigned to them that can give the same exact information that, from what I understand, he's been trying to give them for years, but, um, yeah. |
Just after this excerpt (verbatim, same source, for fairness): Tori says the only feedback she received was on Nextdoor, that "the two local deputies assigned here to Marvin have confirmed that there is no risk from Greenways" (11:11 to 11:18), and the detective answers, "So, for someone that's on the road every single day, if they deem that there's no risk on the greenway, then I would believe them." (11:45 to 11:52).
